I will be sharing some of my favorite charities and non-profit organizations on this page. You will see that I am a strong supporter of organizations dedicated to helping our veterans and first responders. They deserve our support and prayers.

May No Soldier Go Unloved | May No Soldier Walk Alone | May No Soldier Be Forgotten
Even After They Come Home.™
“Empowering Wounded Heroes,
One Home at a Time“
Our Mission: To empower our severely wounded heroes injured in the Post 9-11 Global War on Terror, by partnering with the wounded hero to build a specially adapted home designed to restore his/her independence.
Saving Lives at Both Ends of the Leash
Roughly 20 Veterans die by suicide every day, and K9s For Warriors is determined to change that. K9s For Warriors exists because of a fierce dedication to saving the lives of both Veterans and rescue dogs. This program is backed by scientific research and empowers Veterans who fought for our freedom to live a life of dignity and independence. Graduates of the program are able to live a life that they previously did not think was possible. Many have reunited with their families, gone back to school, found renewed enjoyment in life, and significantly reduced their medications.
Help us help those who have sacrificed so much for us all.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) of the VFW. It exists to provide financial resources to the vital assistance programs of the VFW. Through our strategic relationships with supporters, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation fills in governmental assistance gaps for troops abroad, military families back in the U.S. and America’s often-forgotten veterans. These programs are provided at no cost to the recipients and require no Veterans of Foreign Wars affiliation.
Since 9/11, we have been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. We are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.
Because a Family's Love is Good Medicine
Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.
Fisher Houses have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room, and an inviting living room.
Empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.
For more than 30 years, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust has played a critical role in the support of ill and injured veterans, their families and caregivers as they navigate the challenges of life after combat. Each year, the organization assists thousands of America’s heroes through targeted grant support of charitable initiatives across the nation.
Since 2001, over 3 million veterans have returned home from war but many of them have never transitioned from their experiences. The Department of Veteran Affairs estimates that up to 20% of post 9/11 veterans suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Recognizing the therapeutic value of long-distance outdoor expeditions, Warrior Expeditions created the Warrior Hike, Warrior Bike and Warrior Paddle Programs to help veterans transition from their wartime experiences.
